libapache2-mod-auth-mysql software package provides Apache 2 module for MySQL authentication, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libapache2-mod-auth-mysql
libapache2-mod-auth-mysql is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libapache2-mod-auth-mysql package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libapache2-mod-auth-mysql *
You will get with libapache2-mod-auth-mysql package name, version, architecture and description in a table
